I certainly do not. Disney states that none of Zira's cubs are Scar's, and plus, I doubt Scar would even want Zira as a mate, since he wanted Nala to be his mate in the Broadway show. I guess Zira could have been just Scar's biggest fangirl and like Simba said on MLK, she thought Scar loved her for picking her cub as his heir. :/ What's your opinion?  |

Now that you said all that, I must agree. I never really thought about it much.
But he couldn't have picked Kovu himself, since Kovu seems to be the same age as Kiara or at least very close to - as he was the same size as her, and Scar was long dead before Kiara was born... But then again, he had a small tuft on his head, which means he might have been 2 years old (as that is the age when the mane begins to grow), but then - shouldn't he have been larger in size, too?
